The Paracentric Key

Typically used in prisons, the paracentric lock and key are not that hard to pick, but it does require some skill.

A paracentric key, which opens a paracentric lock, can be identified by the contorted shape of its blade. The blade protrudes past the vertical line of the key barrel. This lock, patented by the Yale lock company in 1898, is not too difficult to pick, but picking it does require some skill and know-how.
